Jamie's Story What We Do How To Help Resources

What We Do

The priority of Jamie's Heart Foundation is to assist families who are battling childhood heart disease. The foundation supports and networks with other community organizations that provide direct family support and services to children diagnosed with a congenital heart disease and their families. Jamie's Heart Foundation directly provides assistance to these families and their children in the Pacific Northwest.

How we can specifically help:

Uncompensated medical expenses - pay for non-covered or uncompensated medical expenses. This can include medications, co-pays, dietary needs, etc.

Family Housing - provide housing for out of town families who are traveling to receive treatment. If the family does not qualify for the Ronald McDonald house or it is full, we will pay to house the family in a nearby hotel.

Travel - find discounted airfare and pay for travel costs when the family has to travel away from home to care for their child.

Encouragement - find ways to support the family and children through hospital visits, care packages, baskets, etc.

Activities - provide opportunities for family and children to enjoy area attractions while away from home. These may include tickets to sporting events, zoos, children museums, and other attractions.

Who We Are

Jamie's Heart Foundation was created in 2007 in memory of Jamie Noel Hannah.
