Jared Proudlock

Jared Proudlock was born in June 2008.  His parents, Mark and Amber learned through a fetal ultrasound that baby Jared would be born with a congenital heart defect.  Jared was released from Mary Bridge Children’s Hospital in Tacoma in early September after over three months with most of that time in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).

Jared underwent his first heart surgery within days after being born.  Jared still has more surgeries ahead of him to fix his heart.  Jared will be on medications throughout this time and beyond.

The Proudlock family resides in the Kent, Washington area.  Mark is a union electrician in the Seattle area and Amber is a GREAT stay home mom.  They currently have four beautiful children: Savannah (8), Mark Jr. (6), Nalana (4) and Janea (2).
